Need Help With Band Fees??

Thursday, May 31st, 2007

With the rising cost of being part of a Championship Band (and worth every penny), why not take this opportunity to earn money in your child’s personal band account all summer long? Best of all, you don’t have to sell anything! Just buy shopping cards to the places where you shop and eat anyway. Instead of spending your cash, use the gift card. For every card, your band student gets a kickback % in their band account. Even small amounts can add up when every cent helps! Let your friends, family, and coworkers in on this, too. You’re not selling anything to them. Tell everyone you know that if they are going to buy gift cards for birthdays or other occasions anyway, to get them from you. Just explain that they can buy shopping cards (the exact same ones that you buy at the stores) from you for face value just like they would at a store or restaurant. It costs them nothing extra, but they are helping your child earn money for band.

This is how it works: Participating Retailers get cash up front and repeat business. In return, they let the student keep a % of the face value of the shopping card purchased. For example, just ONE Valvoline Oil Change card at $27.99 (which offers a 17% incentive) puts $4.76 into your child’s band account!!

Check out more details and see a complete retailer list on the Scrip Card page on the band website. We put in an order the first week of every month.

The deadline for the next order is Monday, June 4th.

Contact Lisa or Julie (662-420-9271) for more information or to place your order.
