Danny, does anyone know if the fire that burned the bleachers at the football stadium also burned the concession stand? The pictures I’ve seen look like it was a very large hot fire and from where it was it looks like it could have affected the concession area. I sure hope everything is okay that would be a huge loss for the band. My heart broke when I saw the pictures of the fire and the aftermath. I can’t believe those kids could do such a horrible thing.

Tammy, we were at the school last night. Everything is fine with the concession stand. Just has an odor. I will never understand what those kids were thinking. It is a terrible mess.

Thank goodness. I was really worried. I know, makes you wonder doesn’t it? Glad everything is okay and the damage to the stadium wasn’t any worse than it was.

A friend of mine saw it as it happened. He was on his daily walk, and was therefor put in the back of the squad car as a suspect. It was that way that he met the actual perpetrators. Two kids, 12 years old, were setting spiderwebs on fire and that fire spread to the highly flammable mats sitting under the stadium in storage. If it is whom we think it is, my brother knows him, and knows him to be a little pyromaniac of sorts, albeit a rather daft one. It was not intentional, but rather the result of some irresponsible kids doing something really stupid. Life happens.
