Medical Release forms are due August 4th. You have to complete a new form each year. Don’t forget, it must be notarized. Download Adobe Reader and you can complete the form by typing in your info before you print.
Have you been wondering what happened to the copies of the 2008 Band Video that were promised after the banquet? Well wonder no more! We have finally finished the complete update and have begun burning DVDs! The original 30 minute program is now enhanced with nearly one-and-a-half hours of extras, including the complete band night performances, student interviews, staff moments, humorous happenings and a final walk down memory lane.
You can begin picking up your copy from the band hall on Friday, May 16th. For those who placed an order at the band banquet, you will need to bring your payment (if have not previously paid) when you pick up your DVD. If you would like to order a copy, email me at dwofford@dcspride.com, and include your name, your student’s name and the number of copies you desire. You may then pick up your video from Mr. Cox. The cost is $20 per copy, due at pick up. Make checks payable to ‘DCHS Band’. Thanks for your patience and enjoy the show!

Due to field conditions following the recent heavy rains, Band Night 2006 will be postponed until Monday, October 30th. Because of the delay, ticket sales will be extended until Thursday, October 26th. Tell everyone you know about the change, or else it will just be them and the crickets performing!! Also Band Night T-Shirt Orders will be extended through the 25th of October. |

Reminder! Sept. 27th is the last day to turn in the money for your Cow-a-Dunga tickets and recieve credit for your account. Remember you can buy Cow-a-Dunga tickets yourself to pay for your trip and $7.00 goes back into your kids account. That means it only cost you $3.00 for a chance to win $10,000. So if you purchase 80 tickets your kids trip is paid for and you have 80 chances to win the $10,000. We have on had 9 kids return tickets and the form indicating that they do not wish to participate in Cow-a-Dunga. If your students name is not on this list we will need you to send in $100.00 with the ticket stubs by Sept. 27th. $70.00 of that $100.00 will go back into his or her account. These are the students that have requested not to participate: Brett, Kyle, and Trevor Anderson, Calland Manning, Barrett Swims, Anna Taubken, Abby Vann. Jalissa Wilson, and Carley Edwards.

September 22nd is the deadline for Band Aide Day booth applications. Just because you may be a sponsor and you are entitled to a free booth, that does not mean I will reserve you a booth. You must complete an application. I cannot allow exceptions to this.
September 26th is the deadline for barbeque tickets. I will be selling tickets at the exhibition but after that no tickets will be sold. Sorry, but no tickets will be sold on Band-Aide Day.
Band-Aide Day T-shirt orders were due September 18th, but we will accept orders until Wednesday, September 24th September 20th. The shirts are $10.00 and can be picked up at the school on September 29th after 5:30 p.m. Contact Diane Madden for orders or questions.
All money and forms for Cow-a-dunga tickets MUST be turned in by Sept. 27th . Any tickets sold after Sept. 27th will go in the general pot and divided between everyone who participated in Cow-a-Dunga. No exceptions. Direct questions to Kelley Benson

Graduation Performance Schedule
(Saturday, 27 May 2006)
- ROLL CHECK IN CHAIRS AT THE CIVIC CENTER AT 1:00 PM (DO NOT BE LATE!!)
- Use the main entrance by the flags and come directly to the floor
- If you play one of the following intruments, you will need to pick it up before 3 PM on Wednesday
- Bass Clarinet
- Tenor Sax
- French Horn
- Baritone
- ALL PERSONAL INSTRUMENTS WILL NEED TO BE PICKED UP BEFORE 3PM ON WEDNESDAY
- We need volunteers at 11:30am to help load equipment on the truck
