The 2008 Band Banquet for the Desoto Central High School Band program was held on a rainy Friday evening on May 2nd. Once again, it was a time of celebrating the accomplishments of the students and staff of the Desoto Central Band programs. It was also a time to say farewell to our graduating senior members. The theme for this year's event was "Mardi Gras", as a reflection on the band's highlight trip to New Orleans to perform in the NCAA BCS Championship Football game in January. Another year is behind us, and another successful band banquet was enjoyed by all to celebrate!
