We would be glad to have you join the easiest fundraiser ever! We strive to make it as simple as possible for you to earn money for YOUR CHILD’S BAND ACCOUNT. Please let us know if there is anything that we can do to help you.
Scrip is simply a way to raise funds for your child’s band account without having to sell anything! You buy gift cards through the Scrip program to any of the vendors listed on the www.shopwithscrip.com website and the rebate amount goes into your child’s band account. These are the same gift cards that you buy in the store. (Examples: Wal-Mart, Lowe’s, O’Charley’s, Red Lobster, Wendy’s, JC Penney, Starbuck’s, Subway, Bath & Body Works and many, many more!) Companies sell the gift cards to Great Lakes Scrip at a discounted amount and then they in turn pass along a portion of the discount only to non-profit organizations, like us, to raise money for our non-profit organization.
Program Rules & Guidelines:
1. Each family will be provided a unique customer ID number. This number must appear on all orders you submit to ensure your purchases are accurately recorded.
2. All certificate orders must be accompanied by cash or a check made payable to DCS Scrip. Or you can pay with PrestoPay thru ShopWithScrip. Scrip Certificate payments are not tax deductible because you receive dollar for dollar value.
3. Please add a $2.00 S&H fee per total family order.
4. If your check is returned because of non-sufficient funds (NSF), you will be charged a $20 fee payable to DCHS Band. After two NSF checks are tendered on your account, your scrip ordering privileges will be limited to cash only.
5. With each order you place, DCHS Band will provide a summary of your family’s purchases.
6. Scrip certificates are purchased on your behalf, and are not returnable.
7. When you pick up your scrip certificates, open your order and verify its accuracy. Your signature on the Order Pickup List indicates you have received your order in its entirety. In the unlikely event you should find a discrepancy in your scrip order, please contact the DCHS Band Scrip Program Coordinator within 7 days.
8. Scrip certificates are the same as cash, and should be handled accordingly. DCHS Band will not be responsible for certificates that are lost, stolen or misplaced while in your possession.
9. You must send us an email as stated on the next page or sign a WAIVER OF RESPONSIBILITY form stating it is alright for your child to pick up your gift cards before they will be released with your child. These forms will be kept on file, and DCHS Band accepts no responsibility for certificates delivered in this manner.

Just a few REMINDERS:
- order dates are set for the year – see the list of order dates on the shopwithscrip website and the dcspride.com website (these dates are subject to change at the coordinators discretion) (if we place an EXTRA order, we will send out an email with instructions about it)
- it takes approximately 1 week to process orders (an email will be sent to you and/or we will call you when the order is in)
- place your order on www.shopwithscrip.com BEFORE the due date
- print off your receipt, write your phone numbers on it and bring it with your money
- add $2.00 S&H to your order
- turn in your money (cash or checks made out to DCS Scrip) or you can pay with PrestoPay (there is a small service charge for PrestoPay)

Exciting News! GLSC customers will receive an additional 5% bonus benefit for the Shutterfly gift cards, effective Saturday, April 5th through Friday, May 2, 2008. So when you purchase the $25 denomination during this special offer you will receive a 14% benefit instead of the normal 9%.
Great Lakes Scrip Center and Lands’ End are pleased to offer our customers a 3% bonus benefit on Lands’ End gift cards from Saturday, March 29 until Friday, May 9. That means you can buy the $25 and $100 denominations at a 12% benefit instead of the normal 9% benefit for the bonus period only.
