We have a home game Friday night - how early do our children leave for State? When do they normally return? Do most parents go too? and do they return that night? Sorry so many questions -

They will probaly not have to leave too early because I think they perform in the afternoon. They will return late on Saturday night. Yes most parents go. Last year we had a whole charter bus of parents. Never be afraid to ask questions. I know it is overwhelming so just ask away. Mr Cox will post a schedule as soon as he can I am sure. He is really good about that.

Thank you PRIDE for such a wonderful year. Your performance Saturday showed class, style and the dedication each of you have to make us the best band in Mississippi (regardless of what the judges think). It has been a great experience and a great finish for our seniors. Mr. Cox and staff have transformed our kids into champions on and off the field. Thanks to all of you for caring for and loving our children like they were your own. I will miss you all next year. Keep up the hard work!

Through tear stained eyes I watched you perform last night and I knew without a doubt you are #1. What a great send off for our seniors. You truly are champions and no matter what you always will be. DeSoto Central is blessed to have the staff of band direstors we have. I know it hasn’t always been easy but nothing in life worth doing ever is. Some day you will all look back on this experience and be ever so grateful to Mr. Cox, Mr. Hopper, Mr. Wells, Mr. Doss and MS. V, for all they have done and will continue to do for “YOUR” band program. I will certainly be lost next year without this band. Remember to keep your chins up, hold your head up high and never doubt your abilbity to perform! Ms. Suzanne (alias the balloon woman)
